Why ePaper feels different

Unlike LCD or OLED screens that emit light directly into your eyes, ePaper reflects ambient light—just like a printed photograph. The result is a calm, paper-like viewing experience that belongs in your home.

Readable in bright light

Reflective display technology works with ambient light, not against it. Photos stay visible even in direct sunlight—just like a framed print on your wall.

No harsh backlight

ePaper doesn’t emit light toward you. There’s no blue glow, no pulsing brightness—just a calm, natural viewing experience that feels comfortable at any hour.

Print-like color tones

Color ePaper renders photos with a matte, paper-like quality. Tones are intentionally soft and natural—closer to a gallery print than a digital display.

Power only when updating

ePaper draws energy primarily during image changes. Between updates, the display holds your photo with near-zero power consumption—no constant draw.

Up and running in minutes

No complicated setup wizards. Connect your photos, pair your frame, and let Ora do the rest.

01

Connect your Google Drive

Sign in and grant Ora read access to your photo folders. You choose exactly which folders to share.

02

Ora curates meaningful moments

Our algorithm surfaces photos that matter—not every screenshot or receipt, but the memories worth re-living.

03

Your frame comes alive

Ora sends curated photos to your frame throughout the day. Each update feels like rediscovering a forgotten moment.

Your photos stay yours

Ora is built on a privacy-first principle: your photos live in your Google Drive, and we never build a permanent library from them.

Privacy-first by design

User-owned storage

Photos remain in your Google Drive. Ora reads them with your permission but never copies them to our servers permanently.

Temporary processing only

When preparing a photo for display, Ora caches it briefly for rendering, then purges the cached copy. No long-term photo retention.

No subscription lock-in

There are no monthly fees and no proprietary cloud accounts. Disconnect anytime—your photos were never ours to keep.

Secure device communication

Ora uses certificate-based encryption for all device communication. Your frame authenticates with the server using its own unique identity.

All your memories re-lived.

A color ePaper photo frame that brings your most meaningful moments home. No subscription. No cloud lock-in.
